《莫德海姆：诅咒之城》是一款回合制策略游戏，设定在《战锤》的世界背景中，玩家带领战团进行血腥的厮杀。允许玩家挑选不同的莫德海姆军事势力，Sisters of Sigmar（西格玛姐妹）, Mercenaries of the Empire（帝国雇佣兵）, and the Skaven of the Eshin clan（恶心鼠人部族）。玩家将在这里招募新单位，装备各种武器配件，让自己的战团向特定方向进化，不断迎接新的挑战。
开始游戏或者解压缩游戏时候注意关闭杀毒软件，防止误杀免DVD文件。
